Gregory Scott Long, M.D., Ph.D.
Gregory Scott Long, M.D., PhD., received his medical degree and a doctorate degree in experimental pathology from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. After medical school, Dr. Long completed a residency program in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and then served as senior clinical fellow in medical oncology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Long joined West Penn Allegheny Oncology Network in April 2001. Previously, he was a staff physician and served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the University of Pittsburgh Department of Medicine. He is currently certified as a diplomate in medical oncology and is a member of the American College of Physicians, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
